Detention meets everyday of the week from 2:50 p.m. until 3:35 p.m. You are to report to the teacher who is supervising detention with books to study. Listen to the morning and afternoon announcements to identify the teacher for that day. Because detention assignments have included the understanding of transportation, missing detention may result in progressing to one day in in-school suspension. ISS meets everyday. If you are assigned ISS, you are to report to ISS on time after first period with your assignments, books, paper and materials needed for the rest of the day. ISS has been assigned one to two days prior to assigned date. It is the responsibility of the student to collect work needed for ISS prior to the day of assignment. Please do not expect to be released for any reason. Students will attend their first period class. ISS will begin after first period (second period on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and third period on Tuesdays and Thursdays). 1st Offense - Warning 2nd Offense - Isolation 3rd Offense - Private Consultation 4th Offense - Call Parent 5th Offense - Written Referral to Administrator Remember that a student's previous behavior and attitude in the office will have an affect on the penalty. Administration reserves the right to revise any of the above mentioned penalties without prior notice. Tardies are cumulative for the entire semester. Make proper provisions to arrive at school on time in the mornings. 1st & 2nd Offenses - Warning and Teacher Discretion 3rd Offense - Detention 4th Offense - Detention 5th Offense - Parent Notification by Office 6th Offense - ISS 7th Offense - Student Contract with Parent and Administrator 10th Offense - Out of School Suspension If a student refuses to serve detention or skips detention, the student will then have to serve ISS.
